Prized by the Chinese for its unusual appearance and flavor, this competition-grade “Bird’s Tongue” Dragon Well is a true connoisseur’s tea. Consisting of one leaf and unopened bud, this tea has a wonderful aroma reminiscent of sweet corn and a smooth, nutty flavor.
Origin: China, Zhejiang Province.
Harvest: Spring 2009
Brewing Recommendation: Use 1 teaspoon per 6 oz cup. Heat water until steaming (160º F). Let steep 2-3 minutes. Good for multiple infusions.
