This set of 2 sand-colored Japanese teacups features an unusual design of twisted, cinnabar lines. The pattern is created during the firing process due to small twigs and branches that are placed in the kiln with the clay. As a result, each pattern is unique.
These small teacups are made in Tokoname, which is famous for its high-fired stoneware kyusu, and are traditionally used to serve high-grade Japanese teas such as Sencha and Gyokuro.
Capacity: 4 oz.
Note: Pricing is for a set of 2 teacups.
