Jade Monkey is a rare Chinese green tea entirely hand harvested on a small, high mountain farm near Fuzhou. Our Jade Monkey is a private reserve tea made by a retired tea farmer. He produces only a limited number of special lots, mostly for his own consumption.
Crafted in the San Bei Xiang style unique to Fujian Province and made according to local customs, Jade Monkey is picked early in the spring and the leaf is processed just enough to preserve its natural aroma and taste. With a soft roasted aroma, the leaves are loosely rolled and reveal a variation of rich green colors. The taste is smooth and well-rounded with light, clean vegetal notes and a sweetness that lingers in the aftertaste.

Details
Use 1 teaspoon per 6 oz cup. Heat water until steaming (170ยบ F). Let steep 3 minutes. Good for multiple infusions.
