Made by artisans in Anhui Province, spring-picked green tea leaves are artfully sewn with silken threads into the shape of a mushroom and then infused with the aroma of fragrant jasmine flowers. When brewed, the mushroom “blooms” into a lily-shaped flower with a bright red clover blossom at its center. The tea is mild and sweet, with a soft jasmine flower aroma. Made from a tea varietal that doesn’t tend toward bitterness, Red Blossom can be enjoyed throughout a meal and can be infused multiple times. It also makes a very convenient tea for travelers.
To showcase this tea at its finest, we recommend brewing it in a wine glass or tempered glass cup.
