Grown at the highest elevations of the Phoenix Mountains, this Dancong (single-grove) oolong has a naturally fragrant aroma of magnolia flowers and a nuanced sweet flavor that lingers. The leaves are artistically shaped into long and tightly twisted strands and then charcoal-wood fired in wicker baskets, resulting in the distinctive aroma and flavor that characterize each variety of Dancong oolong. We recommend brewing Gongfu style as this tea supports multiple steepings with each one bringing out new layers of flavor.
