Details
The wood of the paulownia tree is known as kiriwood in Japan. It is straight-grained, light in weight and not subject to the warping in most woods. By scorching the wood surface lightly and then brushing the wood, the grain of the wood is exposed and a lovely gray color is achieved, known as smoked kiriwood. This sturdy trivet complements any of our teapots beautifully.
Dimensions: Approximately 5 inches in diameter.
