Kawane Sencha is a high-grade, early spring sencha from the high mountain region of Shizuoka. The beautiful needle-shaped leaves brew a flavorful and aromatic tea that is smooth and refreshing, with a lightly sweet aftertaste.
Origin: Japan, Shizuoka Prefecture, Kawane.
Harvest: Spring 2010
Brewing Recommendation: Use 1.5 teaspoons per 6 oz cup. Heat water until steam gently rises (175º F). Let steep for 1.5 minutes. Good for multiple infusions.
