Grown in the clouds and mist environment known as "yun wu" in China, this handcrafted tea is made from a very slow growing, high-quality tea plant varietal. Not many farmers are willing to plant this rare tea, but luckily our tea partner in China was able to secure a small harvest. The taste is mellow and smooth, with a rich finish and a lingering, sweet aftertaste. It is very easy to brew and won't become bitter from oversteeping.
Origin: China, Fujian Province.
Harvest: Spring 2006
Brewing Recommendations: Use 1 teaspoon per 6 oz cup. Heat water until steaming (170 - 180º F). Let steep 2 - 3 minutes. Good for multiple infusions.
Sorry, temporarily out of stock.
