A lively and fresh spring-picked green tea with light vegetal notes and a smooth, lingering finish.
This famous tea originates from Putuo Mountain, considered one of China's 4 famous Buddhist retreats. Known as Putuo Fuocha, it grows on the slopes surrounding the Huiji temple. As a result, locals call it "Buddhist tea".
Origin: China, Zhejiang Province, Putuo Mountain.
Harvest: Spring 2011
Brewing Recommendation: Use 1 teaspoon per 6 oz cup. Heat water until steaming (170 - 180º F). Let steep 2-3 minutes. Good for multiple infusions.
