Organic Keemun - Known as the "Burgundy" of black teas, this organic Keemun is skillfully made. The flavor is mellow and balanced with some smokiness and notes of roasted sugarcane, orchids, cocoa and red wine. Makes a very elegant afternoon or evening tea.
Assam Golden Tips - This is a top-grade Assam that contains many golden tips. It has the perfect balance of body and complexity. Containing only the most aromatic young leaves, this elegant malty cup has a wonderful red wine-like aroma and leaves a desirable, lingering aftertaste. Makes a terrific and hearty breakfast tea.
Organic Yunnan Golden Buds - Yunnan has been a tea-producing region for over 1,700 years and the tea plant is thought to have originated in the area. Known as “Jin Ya” in China, this rare, top-grade Yunnan is picked in the early spring when the tea plants are budding with the year’s new growth. Yunnan Golden Buds brews a rich, flavorful cup with lingering notes of honey and spice.
Organic 2nd Flush Darjeeling - Grown high in the foothills of the Himalayan mountain range, this classic black tea has a clean taste with a hint of muscatel grapes and a fruity aroma.
Organic Keemun - Use 1 teaspoon per 6 oz cup. Heat water to boiling. Let steep 4 - 5 minutes.
Assam Golden Tips - Use 1 teaspoon per 6 oz cup. Heat water to boiling. Let steep 3 - 4 minutes.
Organic Yunnan Golden Buds - Use 1 teaspoon per 6 oz cup. Heat water to boiling. Let steep 5 - 6 minutes. Good with milk and honey.
Organic 2nd Flush Darjeeling - Use 1 teaspoon per 6 oz cup. Heat water until boiling. Let steep 3 minutes.
