This green oolong tea from Taiwan is noteworthy for its fresh aroma of lilac and light, cleansing taste. It has an intense floral aroma and a rich, subtly sweet flavor that lingers.
Bao Zhong tea is processed with a minimum of rolling and drying, resulting in large, intensely deep green leaves that have undergone only slight oxidation. The best Bao Zhong tea is harvested in Spring and Winter. The Winter batch has a slightly stronger aroma and more full-bodied flavor than the Spring batch.
Origin: Taiwan, Wen Shan Tea District, Pinglin Township.
Harvest: Winter, 2003.
Brewing Recommendation: We highly recommend brewing this tea gongfu style in either an Yixing clay teapot or gaiwan, to appreciate its wonderful aromatics and unique flavors that unfurl over many steepings.
Sorry, sold out.
