Bai Hao, or "white tip" oolong, is a handpicked and carefully crafted Formosa oolong tea that is prized for its deep amber color and smooth, honey-sweet taste. Made by picking the bud and first two leaves, this tea has a wonderful floral-fruity aroma. Our summer batch was produced by an award-winning, third-generation tea maker. Bai Hao makes a nice complement to desserts.
Origin: Taiwan, Hsinchu County.
Harvest: Summer 2010
Brewing Recommendation: Use 1 tablespoon per 6 oz cup. Heat water until boiling. Let steep 3 - 4 minutes. Good for multiple infusions.
